To anyone who cares, up until now any production on the novel I had mentioned earlier has been mostly sketches and brain storming. Now I am actually beginning production on it, although the actual inking of pages has not yet begun. The story will span 7 different volumes, including the introduction of the story and epilogue. Each volume will run anywhere from 20-40 pages long, meaning the entire collective story in the end could be anywhere from 140-280 pages long.
I have finished writing volumes 1 and 2 and halfway through writing 3. I decided instead of coming up with dialogue while I ink, I instead want to write out a story and then draw using that as a reference. I have also begun sketching out the first few pages of volume 1. When I finish inking the very first few pages, I will open a website dedicated to All future updates for the series.
I really hope people will end up enjoying this as much as I know I will enjoy making it :) for those of you who have no clue what I am talking about, here's a general synopsis of how the story will go.
This is the story of a man named Jack, who has long since the beginning of the story lost all forms of sanity. Human life to him means nothing. Jack considers himself an artist, but not the kind of artist you may think of. He finds art in the killing of innocent people, using all kinds of forms of torture and strange devices he has designed to end their lives. He lives off the money left int he wallets and homes of the people he murders and as far as he is concerned, life is perfect.
One day, however, Jack learns at the hospital that he is diagnosed with a terminal illness and has left than a year to live. Completely crushed by the news that his perfect life will end, Jack decides after a conversation with a physical manifestation of him conscience that perhaps he should repent and attempt to save his soul before he dies. When the thought crosses his mind, however, the ground break apart and swallows Jack into a firey pit below where he is greeted by Satan.
Satan informs JAck that he is a huge fan of his work, and that he will allow jack to continue living and pull the sickness out of his body if he simply binds his soul to hell and continues to kill people. Jack gladly agrees to this and is returned to the world above, able to continue in his killing spree.
Many problems begin to rise for Jack, however. Death himself grows jealous of Satan's new pet, scared that he will be replaced, and rises to the world of the living to kill Jack. Jack's conscience begins to wonder if she can even control him anymore as he slowly drifts deeper into madness with his new found life. A detective who has been on Jack's case for years now finally is putting the pieces together to make his move, but most of all a demonic force is stirring within Jack and growing with every drop of blood that is spilled.
Jack will have to face these complications as he tries to prepare an "artistic masterpiece" while fighting the growing demon within himself.

I was at one planning on creating flash content, but it is being put off for now for a new idea i am preparing for. I would like to put both my creativity towards drawing and writing to use by independently producing a graphic novel in the near future. Right now its nothing but a written story and character designs/ideas.
Its basically a story about Jack, a guy who has long since lost all sanity. A past of pain and suffering has
turned him into a murderous maniac who turns killing into his own special form of art.
Intelligent but crazy, he has committed dozens upon dozens of murders and managed to escape
the authorities unsuspected of anything. One day, however, Jack is diagnosed with a terminal
illness that now threatens his artistic masterpiece he has spent half his life preparing for.
Broken hearted and facing the growing idea to redeem his soul before he dies, the devil
himself rises to confront him. He proposes to Jack that he will allow him to continue existing with
his soul bound to Satan's, so long as he continues his artistic murders which Satan finds intriguing.
Jack finds this at first too good to be true and accepts without thinking about it. Eventually,
however, He begins to realize the disturbing side effects to being bound to hell itself. Not
only this, but Death himself has grown jealous of Satan's interest in Jack and feels threatened
by his artistic way of killing, and so he begins plotting Jack's demise behind Satan's back. All
this and the treat of a Private Investigator who has over the years finally has the evidence to end
everything he has created, Jack is torn between giving up and redeeming his life, or being drawn
even further into madness, and an eternity in hell.
I really hope people end up enjoying it I really have some great ideas ready for it all and one epic conclusion involving a seven headed dragon, but we will let that go un-announced for now ;) MErry Christmas Everyone!
I just got scouted by an artist and can finally show my submissions on the Art portal! Oh happy day! :D
I got a copy of Flash CS5 now and will be releasing my first flash as soon as i have played around with it and watched a few more tutorials!
I have decided to start a brand new way to review flashes with much more detail. I will base reviews off of 3 different categories. I will give 3 points to graphics and animation. This does not mean flashes have to look absolutely gorgeous to get all 3 points, but they do need to look unique and good to say the least.
3 points for sound quality, which includes proper usage of music, sound effects sounding natural, and voice work that at least sounds like good effort was put into and the characters don't sound like robots.
And 3 points for execution. This one differs per flash. If you are aiming at humor I will rate it on that. I will NOT take off points if you are not aiming towards my personal sense of humor, but will rate it dependent on how clever you are and how well you do your particular humor. If it is hard for somebody to tell what audience you are aiming for, you didn't do a good job. And remember that timing can be everything in a joke! If you do however not make a comedy, I will base these 3 points on how well you pull off your aim, whether its story or action.
And the final point goes to flashes that stand out on their own as special, the most unique. A flash I have never seen before and is able to WOW me with just one view of it. That is how I decide who gets 10 points :)
Just thought I would share that with people!
