I got a copy of Flash CS5 now and will be releasing my first flash as soon as i have played around with it and watched a few more tutorials!

I have decided to start a brand new way to review flashes with much more detail. I will base reviews off of 3 different categories. I will give 3 points to graphics and animation. This does not mean flashes have to look absolutely gorgeous to get all 3 points, but they do need to look unique and good to say the least.

3 points for sound quality, which includes proper usage of music, sound effects sounding natural, and voice work that at least sounds like good effort was put into and the characters don't sound like robots.

And 3 points for execution. This one differs per flash. If you are aiming at humor I will rate it on that. I will NOT take off points if you are not aiming towards my personal sense of humor, but will rate it dependent on how clever you are and how well you do your particular humor. If it is hard for somebody to tell what audience you are aiming for, you didn't do a good job. And remember that timing can be everything in a joke! If you do however not make a comedy, I will base these 3 points on how well you pull off your aim, whether its story or action.

And the final point goes to flashes that stand out on their own as special, the most unique. A flash I have never seen before and is able to WOW me with just one view of it. That is how I decide who gets 10 points :)
